The park was quiet and tidy, and located in a lovely spot next to Coniston water and within easy driving distance of shops and the Lake Districts main attractions. The accommodation was perfect and we would definitely come here again.

Great location for the South Lakes. I was there with my two teenage children and we all had a great time. Excellent facilities in the caravan. Didn't really need the help of the staff on site but they were always available. Would definitely consider staying there again.

The park was quiet, beautifully surrounded by woodland. It was very well laid out and I would definitely go back to this park and I would 100% recommend it. The staff on the park were very friendly and helpful. The situation of the park is very good and is within an hours drive of many places to see and visit.

Excellent views of Coniston Lake just a few minutes walk from park. You can pick up a Coniston cruise boat(10 minute walk from park) and take a trip up to Conistion village, then pick up a later boat back. Very good for a pub lunch in the village!!

Lovely little camp-site, peaceful and quite, very clean, and an excellent base to visit all of the Lake District. The owner's work very hard on the upkeep of the site, and the site is well deserving of it's David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation. Would highly recommend this camp-site to all.

Our holiday at Crake Valley was wonderful. The location is fantastic, with panoramic views from the caravan of the surrounding mountains and countryside. The owners were very friendly and helpful and kept the site in perfect condition. We will definitely be going back and will be trying out one of the lodges next time.

The site has an excellent location, right next to Coniston Water, which was perfect for walking the dog. Only a small number of caravans on the park so very private and relaxed.

If you want a walking holiday in the Lake District, and somewhere really quiet to retire to at the end of the day with very good accommodation, then the Crake Valley is the place for you. If you don't want to travel to a walk there are plenty of walks in the area, including the Old Man of Coniston. We have been here the last three years and will be going again.
Mrs D, Farnborough, Hampshire

We have just returned from a holiday at Crake Valley. First impressions was a lovely, clean park and well presented. The caravans are home from home, again very clean with everything provided. The caravans and lodges have ample space between them giving plenty of privacy and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. Situated in a lovely spot looking down on Coniston water, great walks from the park, and in a good spot to visit other areas within the Lake District.
